The Legend of Eternal Life is a philosophical reflection on human life as a constant struggle. Yet, love gives each person strength on this difficult path. When love is unrequited, one becomes powerless. Betrayal and lies follow the main character throughout the performance.
The production intertwines authentic songs, original compositions, laments, and sung improvisations.
Ivan Franko, as an eternal revolutionary, was given the eternal flame. And under the watchful eye of the madness of his time, he carried that eternal fire. A mortal man was entrusted with a divine mission. But a mortal cannot bear the eternal flame, for his life has a beginning and an end. The eternal belongs to eternity!
Franko carried the "divine fire" for as long as he could. The Legend of Eternal Life is a philosophical reflection written by a mature man burning in the endless trials of life, contemplating eternity. Is it possible to live forever amid the storm of passions rather than in harmony and love, which are so difficult to find on this earth...?
